This is an agreement between responsible authorities, Police, Probation and Prisons, to reduce risk posed by dangerous offenders. There is a statutory requirement for agencies including Eduction, Housing, Social Services, YOT and Health Service to co-operate. Information will be shared and risk management will be carried out to produce strategies in the management of offenders who meet the following status criteria: i) relevant sex or violent offenders who are required to register or were sentenced to 12 months in prison or more ii) others who pose a risk of serious harm to the public.
