If a partner, ex-partner of a family member is abusing you; you can free and confidential help from a number of organisations in Buckinghamshire.

If you need support or you are working with people who are affected by Domestic Abuse, then there are pages on this web site that will be able to help.

Domestic Abuse covers a range of situations, which may include:

 

  • Physical, sexual or psychological abuse e.g. slapping, pushing, kicking, punching, stabbing, rape, verbal abuse and humiliation.
  • Financial or emotional deprivation e.g. withholding money, not allowing friends to visit or restricting of phone calls.
  • The use or threat of using legal sanctions against a partner e.g. threats about the custody of the children, threats of deportation.
  • Denial of rights e.g. denial of medical care, physical freedom.
Get help and advice to live without violence. You will be taken seriously and not judged because of your circumstances.
